Why fltr Wallet?

Apple First

fltrWallet leverages unique and market leading advances to the Apple ecosystem. It is a ground-up implementation of the Bitcoin protocol in the Swift language. It employs Apple Silicon and multiple Apple only key products including Combine Framework, MetalKit, Network Framework, SwiftNIO and SwiftUI.

Multipeer

Bitcoin security model as outlined in the Bitcoin whitepaper mandates multiple peer-to- peer connections to source data from multiple parties. By having multiple sources of truth the risk of man in the middle attacks is made more difficult, as well as withholding network updates such as new blocks and transactions.

Compact Filters

An amazing development and extension to the Bitcoin protocol was introduced with version 0.21 of Bitcoin Core node software. Instead of downloading megabytes for each block, the download requirements are slashed several orders of magnitude. Instead the filters are processed in the computer or mobile device. Thanks to fltrJET technology such filter processing can be made more energy effective and much more scalable than the reference implementation.

fltrJET

JMP Every Time (JET) is the hallmark of branchless code, where instead of branching the next location of execution is always known and predictable. This provides a massive speed and scalability increase. In tests of 10 000 keys (each transaction creates a new key), fltrJET provides a ten-fold speed increase and a significantly lower CPU load meaning less heat and more battery saved.

Stateful Bitcoin software

Thanks to the Bitcoin block chain monitoring capabilities provided in fltrWallet any possible transaction signature can be continuously monitored. This opens up the playing field for Bitcoin based smart contract solutions, such as time stamping, distributed ID and microtransaction platforms.
